Future Nurse's Club

The hospital I work at is currently developing a Future Nurse's Club in area high schools within our county. We have enlisted the support of most of the high schools to allow us to offer an organized program to students interested in pursuing nursing as a career. We have written bylaws, misson & vision statements, and have organized teams of nurses who volunteer their time to work with these students to introduce the profession of nursing to them - and to guide them in choosing curriculum to prepare them for their secondary education. I would like to hear from others about how their programs are going, and would certainly welcome any tips on topics that the students found helpful or interesting. We have planned guest speakers, field trips, and shadowing experiences. Anyone else out there have anything else exciting going on with your Future Nurses?
