Florida Med Prep?

I was thinking about doing a two weekend-long CNA course at Florida Med Prep:

It sounds like a really good deal, only $300 and they have a location fairly close to me. I'm curious if anyone on here has went to this place.. I want to know if it's actually reputable before I register for it.

Well, I went ahead and signed up for a one weekend, Friday-Sunday CNA course in March. I'm excited. :D I'm hoping to do the CNA thing while I'm going to school for my RN.

Rest assured you will LOVE Florida Med Prep. I took my course there and they are GREAT. I passed my test the first time thanks to the wonderful training I got. I checked them out through the BBB and I was pleased to know that they are highly recommened by them. Good luck...your gonna love it!

Great to know.. thank you!! I'm excited, even if it is just a bottom-level nursing job. Though, is it really possible to get good training in 3 days? I have absolutely zero experience in the medical field so I'm a little nervous. I've only worked in grocery and retail.

Also, where am I most likely to get a job after getting my CNA certification? Nursing homes? Do doctor's offices employ a lot of CNA's? Seems like most hospitals want patient care techs, which have advanced training beyond the scope of just bathing/feeding/dressing people (maybe I've got this wrong). Some clarification would be greatly appreciated. :wink2:
