FIU nursing school

Hey everyone! So I am almost done with all my prerequisites to get into a nursing program. Since I live in Miami I've been considering Florida International University (FIU), Miami Dade College (MDC), or maybe Broward College (BC). My top choice would be FIU but I am a bit nervous whether they would accept me or not, I've heard it's very competitive. Right now I have a 3.4 GPA, no medical experience, and have about 3 withdrawals, but no failures. My professor told our class that if you have more than 3 withdraws it would be very difficult to get into a program, which scares me. So I guess my questions are to anyone who can tell me how competitive any of these programs are, if there really strict with withdraws or are very hard to get into? How can I get myself to stand out in applying for any of the programs ? I would prefer answers from students who know somewhat of these programs ? Any advice given would be greatly appreciated !
