hello all, I've been reading this site for a couple of days now, and it has been very helpful. I'm about to begin an LPN program at Americare School of Nursing in Orlando, Fl. I was wondering if anyone has ever gone there, and if they know how the program is?? Also if anyone has any tips on becomming an LPN it would be very helpful. I know that when im finished I want to either work in L&D or the N.I.C.U. Thanks so much for your help. Hope someone has some tips for me

I am attending LPN classes in Kissimmee, and our instructor told us just this week that they ALMOST always staff those type of units with RNs. But LPNs are hired for postpartum (reason: less acute pts)
