Fingerprinting process for BON

I just recently got accepted into the nursing program at one school in Texas. I recently did my fingerprints and I called to see why I haven't received my blue card in the mail so I can register for my nursing classes. After speaking with the BON I was told I never received my blue card in the mail because something came up flagged on my record and she wouldn't tell me what is was. She stated I would have to wait until my paperwork comes in the mail and go from there. Well the thing is my classes are scheduled to start January 16th!! which is less than 2wks away. I even called the DPS and they told me I would have to get another fingerprint done and have it sent to myself in order to see whats on my record. The only thing I can think of is back when I was 16 I got a driving while license invaild and I went to court paid my fines and was told it will be expunged off my record, and that was almost 13 years ago. If anyone has any insite or information please comment.
