Financial aid question??

I'll be starting my pre-reqs this summer but will not qualify for financial aid because I won't be able to take enough hours; however, my youngest will start school in fall, 2006 so I plan to go full-time then (and hopefully qualify for aid). My concern is, my oldest son will have graduated and he plans to go to college as well. Would both of us be able to qualify for aid, or would one cancel out the other?? If I had to make a choice between the two of us going to school, he would obviously win out!!:chuckle But, I desperately want to go as well.

If anyone has any advice or insight into how the whole financial thing works, I'd appreciate some help!
