Anyone out there apply to or attended FAU's MSN NP program? Would love some insight.
Thanks!

I am finishing up the final parts of my application right now!
Awesome! Which program? It seems like a really affordable option for NP. Good luck!
MSN-FNP at the HBOI campus. Only issue right now is my nursing research course for my undergrad was
two-credit hours (Nursing EBP course with my BSN) and apparently it needs to be three...any insight?

I'm not sure if the undergraduate Nursing Reasearch requirement is a hard and fast rule or not. Perhaps call the MSN-FNP advisor and ask. I've spoken with the advisers several times and they were always helpful. I also applied to the HBOI campus but chose the adult-Gerontology path instead.
Let me know if you hear anything!
I was cleared today for approval of the nursing research requirement. Woohoo! Three people who I attended school with started the DNP-FNP program immediately after graduating last May and are very much enjoying it.
What all campuses and programs did you apply and what are your stats?

I applied to HBOI campus MSN Adult-Gerontology. I have a 3.6 gpa, BSN from Drexel University, and 3 years of ICU experience.
I've also applied to USF'S DNP Oncology/ Adult program.
Figured its smart to have more than one dog in the fight.
Have you heard, can you work during the program?
I've tried looking up information on FAU's program and I read on a forum for a few years ago someone say that they do not recommend working after the first year because "a lot that do fail." I figure it's kind of like undergrad for nursing ... I knew students who worked night shift full-time and were okay while some struggled who did not work at all. Just depends on the person and what your options are!
