I use to work part time in outpatient mental health, group home setting. One day I was interviewing applicants for a direct care positions with one of the house supervisors. The house we were interviewing in was a split level so you either had to go upstairs or downstairs as soon as you came in the door. Anyways, we were upstairs in the kitchen and a gal came in for the interview. We decided to hold it at the kitchen table since no one else was home at the time. This girl had all the right answers for every question. Almost like a play. Interview was going good, too good! At the end she was thanking us a million times over and over and saying things like, I know I am perfect for the job and I am always very attentive... Then she disappeared and we hear a loud scuffle and a bang! While she was saying this she walked backwards out of the kitched and fell backwards down the stairs! We ran to see if she was OK, thankfully she was, and noticed that her dressy shirt she wore didn't make it through the fall! Good thing there were no clients home! We helped her up and the first thing she said was, "Oops I forgot there were stairs there." We found her a shirt to wear home and picked up one of her high heel shoes from the top of the stairs and one from the bottom. She smiled and said, "Thats really embarrassing isn't it!" :chuckle:yeah::chuckle:yeah:

Oh my! Did she get the job, and if so, was she perfect ???
They did hire her after that and she turned out to be a little less attentive than she claimed... Got let go within 2 months for medication errors) Guess they could have seen that coming he he
