Fall 2021 Practical Nursing

I am curious to know if I should retake my TEAS...I scored a 75 and currently have a 3.4 GPA. I meet the requirement to apply for the programs I am interested in but I know that PN is very competitive and wanted to reach out for some feedback.

@tumlets that’s exciting! I’m wishing you the best. I have not put in my application. I will do that on after I attended the  information session. I also wanted to make sure I was in the CNA registry so that I could get the additional points. How many points do you have, if you don’t mind me asking? I believe I have 75.

I don’t have my CNA, so I’m worried I won’t be accepted, or have enough points. I have 106.2. And that 12 extra points definitely would have helped so much.

@tumlets are you applying for the LPN or the ASN ?

I put my application in for lpn. I only need bio 2201 as a final pre req for the ADN program, so I’m taking that first Summer session and if I don’t make it into the lpn I’m going to apply for the ADN. ADN Spring 2022 applications are due in August.

@tumlets That's awesome! I am planning on bridging from LPN to RN. I might be a bit confused. Are you saying you have 106.2 points for the application process? If so, how did you get the additional points?
