ERT certificate

Hi,

I have recently obtained my certificate for nursing assistant and have to wait a year before i start my nursing classes. in the meantime i would like to work in an ER. I saw in the local classifieds that a hospital was looking for a CNA with an ERT certificate to work in their ER. Does anyone have any information on obtaining an "ERT certificate"? thanks!!!

that in Northern California, both San Francisco City College and San Jose City College have ERT or ERT-equivalent courses. Usually they cover things like EKGs, phlebotomy, giving meds (injections, mostly, I think), sterile procedure.
