Does anyone know the benchmark or staffing levels for an ER with approx 3700 visits/months. Please help me or give me and idea where to find this information.

You might try Kennestone outside of Atlanta..they do much more than 3700 visits, but they compile complete data. The best way to produce your own statistic is to look at the length of stay or average time per visit. If you want to know how to perform this kind of study, contact me. I have done such a study in a large metropolitan hospital and succeeded in increasing the staffing based on the study. my email and web site address are under my profile.
