Hello! I just had an ER interview ! I can give you a tip from my experience . Just google behavioral type question online . It was a lot of tell me when you witnessed an ethical issue ... Tell me when you had a conflict with a patient.why do you want to be part of this hospital . Look up the mission statement and history of the hospital . Write out those situations in on a notecard and practice them. With your situations try to express why you want to be a nurse . Why you enjoy it, Show them who you are. And make sure you bring up team work !
Remember that it's expected that all of our situations are from nursing school especially if we have no experience before that. So you can have situations that are not nursing specifically.
Smile... Take a deep breath... Smile some more and show them that you are excited to be there !
Just if they happen to ask go over stroke.. Heart attack ... DM complications ... But they didn't ask me any of that . Just behavioral questions!
Good luck and kick butt! Hope that helps!
Thanks ! The interview went well and im hoping for some good news. No questions about actual clinical scenarios like stroke or MI but they asked a lot about customer service and prior work experience. I sold myself the best i could so hopefully i will have good news to share soon :)
I got the job !!! So excited to start. Thanks again for your advice !
