Endoscopy Interview Questions

Hi, I'm a nurse with 6 months experience in med surg going for an interview in Endoscopy. I've searched the board, but wanted to see if there were specific questions asked during the interview to help me prepare? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I dont have much advice, but I just wanted to tell you good luck. I am a new LPN with no experience and I just got hired in Endo. The only thing I can say is, know how to answer the, "Tell me about a time when" type questions, why you want to work in Endo, what makes you worthy of the job, considering your having limited nursing experience etc. Of course your interviewer may use a different style, so I'll just say, be punctual, be attentive, come prepared with questions for the interviewer, and smile!!

Thank you cardiac luv, this is very helpful! During your interview, did they ask any unit specific questions?

You're welcome, the only things I can remember them asking were in regards to IV starts, and familiarity with certain things like, cardiac monitoring, admitting patients in a busy setting. Remember though I am an LPN so my role is limited, if you're an RN they will probably ask you a lot more.
