El Segundo

El Segundo is just south of LA (or south of Marina Del Rey or Santa Monica as all the cities in the LA area run together and it's hard to tell where one starts/ends). Little Company of Mary Hospital and Torrance Memorial Hospital are probably the closest hospitals. But since El Segundo is near the 405 freeway even working at UCLA or Cedars would be OK. You might want to go to http://www.nurseweek.com to check out current job opportunities. Salaries are high but so are living expenses. Suggest you go to your local bookstore and order "Thomas Guide for LA County". It's a map book and you can't live without it (costs about $35.00) and it will give you a better idea of city and hospital locations. Good Luck and welcome!
