EAYL Question

Published

I'm going to try to go for the Earn As You Learn RN program through my college and local hospital. I faxed off my application today only to find out that student applications will not be considered until after March 21st IF there are still spots available since they will consider hospital team members first. There are 12 spots for the program. I know this is a silly question because no one can predict what will happen, but if anyone has had experience with their local EAYL program, could you give me a general idea of how you were chosen for your EAYL program as a pre-nursing student NOT working for the hospital?

Just a side note: I talked to the human resource officer's assistant. She said that she will forward my application to her boss anyways. I feel like I might have a chance because I faxed it earlier than I was supposed to. I've got a decent GPA (3.4, but will more than likely change by the end of this semester), and meet all the requirements.

Dear God I feel like I haven't relaxed for the last two months now!

Thanks for any info!!

Did you end up making it in?
