Easy to get a job?

I am planning on getting my Associates in nursing. I live in Long Island -- how easy will it be for me to get a job in a hospital in the Long Island / Queens area when I am ready??

Is this something I do on my own or the school I go to will place me?

Kukla,

I cannot offer advice on that area, but I can tell you to not sit around and wait for your NS to place you. They are your resource and will offer letters of recommendation, but it is your job to find a job.

And certainly do not wait for school to end. Get a foot in the door and do an internship/externship or tech work of some kind. Most places hire from within long before they extend themselves to the external workforce.
