Does Benadryl cause positive for Affinity?

Hi all,

I recently started monitoring and I had my first test earlier this week.  In my contract it states (and I verified it with my case manager) that I can have Benadryl but that they will monitor the levels.  My case manager stated that as long as I do not take more than is recommended then I will be fine.  I know in other states that Benadryl is strictly prohibited unless you have a prescription so I guess my question is will Affinity automatically mark a test as positive if Benadryl shows up?  I have messaged my case manager but I don't expect a reply until Monday at the earliest.  I have tried to be extremely careful the last couple of weeks with what I eat and drink but this is all so new I'm scared I slipped up and don't know it.

Edit:  And also- the test says 'SVT- normal.'  What does that mean?

Are your test results back yet? They'll say positive until your case manager verifies then they'll say prescription positive. I believe the case manager has to manually verify and change because if my drug test comes back over a weekend/holiday, it says positive until the next business day.

SVT stands for "specimen validity testing", makes sure its not dilute, adultered, etc

Yeah, my results came back on Friday as "positive.'  I spent all night Friday and all day Saturday going over everything I have eaten and drank and trying not to have a panic attack LOL. The only things I can think of is the benadryl and maybe the sleepy time tea I drink before bed.  It says in the ingredients it has "natural vanilla flavoring" which is supposed to be different than extract but now I'm not so sure.

I bet its the Benadryl then! my test came back positive Christmas eve and that was the longest 2 days ever ? it finally changed to "prescription positive" the day after Christmas, which makes me think affinity just uploads them and the case manager has to manually change it.
