Does anyone know any BSN program in New York that accepts students with low GPA; within the 5 boroughs.

It depends on what is bringing down your GPA. Math, English, and Biology are very important and usually need a C or better. Business classes that just weren't right for you probably will not be held against you. Nurses hold their patients lives in their hands and if a nurse cannot accurately calculate dosages or be able to correctly reference a drug handbook to make sure the prescription writer has not prescribed over a max dosage a nurse could kill someone. So the answer to your question needs more info to be answered. If there is a school out there that doesn't care about a low gpa in the classes I mentioned chances are you don't want to go to that school. Noone wants a preventable death on their conscience, no matter how big of a demand for the nursing field there is or how much more money you may make (which consequentially you wouldn't be making after you hurt someone because you would be forever unhirable). If you need to brush up on the important classes do it don't just settle for the crappiest damn school that would except you, because employers will know where you recieved your degree.

I think most cuny schools only go by your gpa in the prereq.s--I currently attend the college of staten island(I think most of the other cuny schools are the same tho) where your acceptance into the program is based soley on like four or five classes and your NLN score
