Documenting Procedures

The hospital provides some basic policies and procedures on their intranet, but we need to document processes at our dept level (NICU). For example, usage of equipment within our department. At present we are just emailing procedures to our 40+ nurses, but wondering if others have found better solutions.

Hello and welcome to allnurses. Your post has been moved to the NICU forum where you should get more response.

What type of equipment? Or are you talking about policy and procedures? Our hospital bought the Lippincott manual and each department went in and added revisions specific to our hospital. We have those linked to careplans also.

If it is just equipment usage such as the manual out engineering people scan them and they are available in our intranet.

Maybe I am missing your

Point?
