Hi,
I am a junior undergrad at The Ohio State University, majoring in Psychology. I was not accepted in to the BSN program here but I did not want to transfer schools. I am still interested in nursing and want to apply to direct-entry msn programs...I am scared because I have heard they are very hard to get into. I had a really bad freshman year which is dragging my GPA down (it's only a 3.3 right now) but I have been making straight A's and deans list for the last 3 quarters. Is it impossible for me to get into these programs with this gpa? I am hoping it will continue to improve. I have not taken the GRE yet but I am definately going to try really hard on that. What do you need to get accepted into these programs? Do you take the prerequisites after you are accepted or while you are still in undergrad? I feel all alone...none of the advisors know anything about nursing and the nursing school advisors won't see me because I'm not enrolled in the college of nursing:(
