Can anyone tell me anything about DMACC's part time program? I originally was a FT nursing student with DMACC but have decided to go into the PT program. Instructors nice? Lots of homework?? Lots of clinical prep? Anything you can tell me would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was in the very first PT group that graduated almost five years ago 5/04!!...I couldn't do FT and was going to drop out of nursing school when they said they had started up a PT program...it was the best thing! It's dificult to say the least...but I'm glad they offer it. I was on the days and the instructors were pretty good for the most part. They just want you to study, listen, and ask a lot of questions...critically think...think through questions and answers. If you just sit there...then what are you doing? YOu have to learn to have a voice as a nurse...learn to have that voice now. Be you, and don't always give answers they want to hear...research and read and have rationals to back up yourself up. I always want rationals...I HATE "because that's the way we do it"...ugh! That will send me up a wall!
