Distance Education Chat

Hello, everyone. I am in graduate school pursuing my doctorate degree in Instructional Technology. I have worked many years in Nursing Informatics, but am new to many of these synchronous technologies. I was excited to find this site. I would be glad to hear from anyone out there working fulltime and pursuing an advanced degree. For me this is a new experience.

I am currently working as a the manager of a telemetry unit (usually 45-50 hours/week) and am pursuing a Master's degree. I've been taking about 8-10 credit hours per semester, should be able to graduate in Dec 2004. It's tough, isn't it? I also have a husband and 2 daughters (10 & 17) to cope with-yikes! Fortunately, both my husband and my children are very supportive and do most of the cooking, housework, etc.:)
