Delgado LPN Fall 2015

I applied for the 2015 Fall LPN class at the charity school of nursing and was wondering who else out there applied! Just waiting now to get my acceptance. Anyone have an idea how long it will take to get an answer? I know they said mid July that just seems so far away and too close to the starting date.

Hi I applied also. What was your profile score if you don't mind me asking? When I turned in my application i was told that we would find out if we're in by the end of June.

My profile score is a 95. It would have been a 75 because they were not sure if they were going to accept my nutrition diet and therapy class from Nunez community college but I got an email for the nursing coordinator saying they were going to accept it, which boosted my score up to a 95. So hopefully all goes well, I'm really anxious to start the program.

Im a 95 also so hopefully it's enough to be accepted!

Yea when I turned my application in the lady said a lot of people were coming in with scores of 90 and 95 so hopefully we make the cut!

Wow really? It must be really competitive. I turned my application in the first day so hopefully that helps. Hopefully we'll hear something back from them in a few weeks

Hi, I applied as well. my profile score is an 85 due to my hesi score not being so well! i'm shocked that they will accept Nunez nutrition. I took it last year and made an A and i was not accepted when i applied because i needed to take Delgado's nutrition. Good luck ladies. Hopefully we will find out by the end of this month.

That's what I had heard too but then when I went to turn in my application they said they were thinking of excepting it for the fall but that they had to double check with the dean. I had gotten an email a couple of weeks ago from the nursing coordinator saying they were, so hopefully that info is legit!

That has to be legit coming from the coordinator. With a 95 profile score you are definitely in. Which site did you choose?

I hope so I'm so anxious to start a program! I put down that I didn't have a preference cause from where I live it will probably take me the same amount of time to either site. Which one did you choose?

I picked the Sidney collier site. It's closer to me. I'm anxious as well, but patient. Lol I gave it to God. I wonder if we will receive an email or a letter

Same here, I feel like leaving it in Gods hands is all I can do at this point. But I believe we have a good chance! I was wondering the same about the letters. I heard that if you get in, you get a letter and an email, but if you don't get accepted, you only receive a letter in the mail but I don't know for sure.
