decisions?!!!! help?!!!!

I have a question i am a ccu RN and i have just finished my trainning, i have worked in this place for over 12 yrs and i work nights except i just recieved a job offering in a cardiac cath lab making more money and it is a day shift position no holiday and no weekend i am unsure what to do. This new place is about 24 miles away from versus the other which is 12, they both offer great benefits but i am going crazy on what to do.

Well....honestly only you can make the decision as to what is right for you however I would weigh out the pros/cons of both positions. For instance I myself prefer to work nights as opposed to days and I dont mind weekends or holidays either as long as they are rotated fairly. However I would prefer to make more money but it would depend on how much more $$ is offered. The mileage difference is only 24 more miles round trip which isnt really all that bad. I know alot of cath lab positions require on call schedules so is that something that would be required of you and would you mind if it was?

I guess what Im saying is make a list of the differences between the position offered and the one you have and decide from there where to go.

Good Luck with your decision.
