Death and Dying course

Published

I have been searching for an online Death and Dying course to complete my minor in healthcare administration. Yesterday I found one through the University of North Dakota and was wondering if anyone has taken this course. It is a 9 month course that is self-paced. This would work out wonderfully for me as I will already have 12 credits this fall semester with my other nursing courses. I figure I could work slowly at this course (while working through the others) and then diving into it in December after the semester is over. The other college that I am looking at offers the the class over 8 weeks (starts the same time my school does and goes through October) but the instructor has posted some of the assignments already (which I could start now). My school does offer the course but only every other year and of course-they're not offering it until next spring when I will be graduating, taking Med-Surge II, leadersip, and another general class..plus studying for boards. Plus it is being offered for Friday nights and Saturday mornings. My advisor has told me that she will help me get an alternative school approved but I was wondering if anyone had done the UND class or has any other suggestions...I greatly appreciate any input that anyine has. Thank you.
