Currently Needs,Help.!!!

Good Morning Everyone.

Yes Indeed I Need Help. Lol

I Am Currently Looking Into Starting School For Nursing.

I Am Located In DC.

My Choices Are: Catholic University,Georgetown,George Washington University,Trinity&Howard University.

I am doing research on each school graduation rate, diverse, pros&cons.

But I will also love to hear people real life experience which each of these schools.

So if you have any personal experience with one I would love to hear.

Thank You My Beautiful Nurses

Check their NCLEX-RN first-time pass rates. The schools you listed all have pretty good reputations, but there are some out there that have abysmal pass rates for the NCLEX. I would steer clear of any school that isn't passing at least 97-98% on the first attempt. If you fail it, you can take it again, but you will probably have to lay out some $$$ for a tutoring program to get through it. Also, there are some schools where their pass rates have been low enough that their accreditation is in danger of being yanked. You don't want to get stuck in a situation like that.

You might also want to talk with some nurse recruiters in your area who are familiar with the schools you are considering. There are a couple of schools near where I am that don't have any trouble with pass rates, but the general impression of them is that they just don't turn out good nurses and some hospitals shy away from them.

Good luck!
