Hi! I recently got admitted as a transfer student to CSULA for the traditional BSN program. I haven’t heard anything about their program and I can’t find much information about it either. If anyone who attends/graduated CSULA’s program could offer some insight or experience about the program I’d really appreciate it. Some of my questions include:
What was an average day like as a CSULA nursing student?
Does the program offer support systems for students who have difficulty with their classes? (Tutoring, course retakes, etc.)
What are the classes like? Professors?
Do students within the program tend to be competitive towards each other or support each other? (I’ve heard from friends that their (CSU) program is extremely competitive and they don’t really talk or create groups. So it made me curious about PACSON)
Does the majority of students in each cohort graduate?
Is it true that most hospitals in the LA area like to hire CSULA graduate RNs?
Is there wiggle room to actually have a social life with time management?
Thanks again!
