CRNA applicant

Published

I am in the process of applying to CRNA school at Western Carolina/East Carolina for spring 2018. I know that CRNA school is extremely competitive, however I just want some personal insight on the process for theses two schools. I am currently studying for my GRE, so it is the only piece of the puzzle that I am missing to apply. Little background- undergraduate GPA 3.55, BSN GPA- 3.96, science GPA 3.5. Experience includes 1 1/2 year PICU 1 year and counting CTICU. I have my PALS, ACLS and CCRN. ANY advice on these two schools will be so helpful. ECU is my top choice... but, any information specific or generic will be helpful!:)

Specializes in TSICU.

The program director when I applied a couple years ago at ECU was very open to discussing application and specifics that they were looking for including recommendations to making a application stronger.

Did you end up attending ECU? Or another program?

program director was looking for very specific things.... dont remember exactly but I didnt 100% meet requirements they wanted.... and they were already 1 of too many schools that I applied to so I just withdrew application vs spending expenses for interview. But she was very honest (back a couple years ago) of what applicant would get in.
