Are you credentialed even though you work with a doctor (state required)?

You have to be credentialed to be allowed to work as a provider seeing patients, doing physical exams, reviewing labs and tests, writing orders, and documenting your assessment and plan. This is an institutional requirement rather than state requirement. If you work with a doctor and perform the role of a scribe, you do not need to be credentialed.
