I work with post-op peds and have the darndest time getting them to deep breathe. Some can use the IS and some do okay with bubbles, but they rarely do it hourly even with prompting. We also have party blowers and pinwheels, but do you have any other activities that your kids do that would be a fun way to break up the monotony of hourly IS use? I'm thinking straw painting, cotton ball races using a straw, kazoos, etc. Something FUN!
