I'll be taking the nclex rn exam in a few months but I am still confused between saunders and hurst review for content. Any suggestions?

Both are good materials in strengthening your core content. If you have plenty of time and reading long hours is your forte, go for Saunders. If you have limited time..a visual and auditory learner, then Hurst is the material for you. Goodluck :)

I took my NCLEX last Saturday and have yet to get my results.. so take this advice with a grain of salt =/.
For me, when I used Kaplan, their questions really helped me and so did their trainer questions and diagnostic exams HOWEVER when you get an answer wrong, I always went back to by Saunders book and had to look up the rationales. It was hard for me to check rationales in the Kaplan book, and when I found it I thought it was a bit lacking.
I highly recommend UWorld. Its cheaper than Kaplan, and their questions REALLY help on the NCLEX, especially the select all that apply, because for every question you get wrong, it tells you why in a way that really helps for you to understand it. Their rationales are GREAT and they offer a lot of visuals/pictures WITH the rationales. If I had to choose between Kaplan, Saunders or UWORLD, it would be UWorld. Because I felt that it was like a great mix of Saunders (easy questions but great explanations/rationales) and Kaplan (great questions but explanations/rationales were lacking)
Good luck!
