Concorde update?

Published

I'm planning on starting the RN program in December.

I have read the previous threads about the program and just wondering how it's going for the current RN students, or students that have graduated. Guess I'm just looking for a check-up on the program.

Are they still having staffing issues? Is G. O. still the director? How do you like the program?

For any graduates, did you feel reasonably prepared for the NCLEX?

Any opinions or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

D

Hi, I'm not in the RN program, but I am in the LPN program. I will start session 2 Monday if I decide to go back there. There is sooooooo much drama going on and very inappropriate behavior, etc, from classmates. I know drama goes on in every nursing school, but I hope it's not as bad in other schools as it is in ours. I also hope that other schools don't allow cheaters to pass. I can't speak for the teachers in the RN program though, except for one that teaches RN clinicals (she taught our A&P and Foundations of Nursing) and she's a great teacher. But there are some teachers that seem to turn a blind eye to many nefarious actions (of course not all of them do that). If you want to know more, please feel free to PM me. And to answer your question, no, G.O. is no longer the D.O.N, and our A.D.O.N left as well. So as of right now we have no Director of Nursing, unless someone has gotten hired on quickly. I'm not sure what's going to happen on that front. So, staffing problems... yes I would say so. :stone
