Compass test - reading section - the essay is SUPPOSED to stay on the screen, right?

The questions that ask about the reading selection appear while that selection is available for reference, right? Now I'm worried the computer screwed up. Although it would have been one extremely hard test if the paragraphs could've only been referenced by memory.

thanks,

Tom

Good day:

When I did the compass test last month, since I didn't remember ever taking such a test, when they go to the essay portion (just before they give you the area to write in), I wrote down the essay premise on the scratch paper they provided for the math section.

In my case, the essay premise stayed on the screen allowing me to reference it once I was done with the essay (but prior to hitting the submit button) so I could review what I wrote to see how on track it was with the wording of the premise.

Thank you.
