CNA transfers

Does anyone know where a Michigan license can be transferred to? state wise i'm getting mine starting this fall and dont necessarily want to live in Michigan. any help would be great!

Hi! I'm not sure where the Michigan license can transfer to, but I know it for sure cannot transfer to California. California doesn't take any license from any other state. You have to be re-tested and re-certified in CA. However, if you get your license in California it transfers to any state in the US. Maybe you could look into something like that? Atleast then you'd be able to go anywhere.

PS--Maybe this thread should be posted under the CNA forum?

you can get your cna license transfered from state to state as long as the state your practicing in stays valid...im currently licensed in two states because my family goes back and forth so much so i hope that helps..
