Hey! After next year I will be a CNA but I want to know if I already know what department I want to be a nurse in, can I work in that specific dept.? For instance, I know I want to be either a Labor and Delivery nurse or work in the mother/baby unit..... either way, work with newborns and the moms. Can I just do all of my clinicals in that dept. or do I have to go throughout the hospital? Thanks in advance!

More than likely you will be rotated through various floors/ dept. but you can request a specific area of interest. Best of Luck
