CMSRN vs. RN-BC

Any opinions on which would be more beneficial for my Med-Surg certification?

Although I found a summary highlighting the differences between the two, I don't know if any of these things are really significant.

Any input re: Med Surg Cert is appreciated...

They are the same thing, just different credentialing bodies. The Med Surg RN -BC through ANCC is more credible to me, they do Magnet.

I don't like the ANA's program because as an ADN my degree level (that "BC" for BSN versus "C" for ADN) is pointed out in my certifications even though I pass the same test and take care of the same patients....it especially irks me since I DO have a BS in Bioengineering.
