CMA Vs. LPN

hello i am currently a cma student and i am thinking off transfering to the lpn program. i am wondering what are the advantages and disadvantges between these two professions?

By becoming an LPN you will get a little more pay and there will be far more job opportunity. CMA's are limited to working in Physician's offices mostly. An LPN can work pretty much anywhere. I'm an LVN/LPN (working on my RN) and I have worked Family Practice Clinic, Surgery Center, Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum. I don't think there are any disadvantages of going from CMA to LPN. Good Luck to you!
