Choosing a school help please!

I am 39 Y/O returning adult trying to choose a school that will offer the best program for my needs. Looking for an online NP program. I reside in NYS. I will graduating May 2018 with an RN associates degree. I currently have a Bachelors in biological sciences and an MBA. I am looking to bridge and get my NP license as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Please help and send me some advice.

Welcome to the site.

As you probably know, NY is one of the states that have explicit regulations on which online and on-campus NP programs all NYS residents can attend. You have to narrow down what NP track you are interested in (i.e., ANP, ACNP, FNP, etc.), then you go to this website: Office of College & University Evaluation home page--NYS Education Department, pick the last search option (programs leading to a Professional license), choose what NP track you want, and it will give you a list of schools you can attend both online and on-campus. There are very few distance programs approved. For instance, Frontier, Samford, and GWU, are the only ones listed for FNP.
