Charlotte Info

Published

I'm interested in going into Critical Care Nursing after graduation and then possibly eventually pursing CRNA school. Several friends have told me that Charlotte is a great place to live and I ahve some friends that are considering relocating there. I love the Carolinas, but my only experience with Charlotte is the airport!

What info can people offer me about the area and specifically the hospitals? I'd like to ideally work in a busy Surgical/Trauma ICU. Some sort of new grad training for ICU would be a plus. Also, what is the environment like for CRNAs there?

Thanks!

It's been a number of years since I left Charlotte, but certainly Carolina's Medical Center could offer you trauma/ICU experience. As a major referral and teaching hospital, I would imagine that they frequently hire new grads. Good luck!
