Ceu's and auditing error in Ca.help

Hi all nurses,

I am an L.V.N with 20 years experience with a California license and have just received a letter of audit, no problem I thought so went into Western schools to print out my certificate and to my horror found there is no record of course completion only the receipt of purchase 6 weeks prior to license expiration, after spending hours on the phone with Western schools trying to find out the problem it happens that I did not click a certain tab which submitted the completion of the course even though I went through the entire course on the day of purchase, they said to re take it and print the certificate out which I did but it has the date showing 3 months over the date of compliance.. of course I'm freaking out and it's impossible to get through to the board by phone so I am writing a letter of explanation along with my proof of receipt and through my stupid mistake and human error I am at risk of loosing my license..I will let them know that this was not a deliberate attempt to commit fraud but just a dumb mistake by a computer challenged nurse, any words of encouragement or experience with these issues would be greatly appreciated , I'm in panic mode right now .. HELP!!!!
