Hi - I took the test last year. I didn't use a study guide. I don't know what the NET guide covers, but the test consisted of basic math word problems, grammar/parts of speech and reading comprehension (short paragraphs and 5-6 questions about the paragraph).

The only real difficult part about the test was the times, it all had to be completed very quickly. I didn't even get to finish the math section, but I still did very well, scored a 26. I skipped things I couldn't figure out quickly, to make sure I answered as many as possible.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the advice. A counselor at ccp told me to buy the ACT prep book, but i didnt think it was needed!!

my sister barely pasted the allied health test. I have been brushing up on my math and reading. I will be taking math 118 within 2 weeks and also have net study guide. That is all we can do to get in the nursing program for 2009. I wish you the best.
