CCMC vs ANCC

Hello!

I am a BSN RN with 4 years Home Health experience, I started in Case Management and moved up to DON quickly. I am hoping to find a job working from home in Case Management. Though I have a BSN, I feel I need to learn more facets of Case Management than what I have been exposed to in Home Health.

I am in Missouri. Which certification should I go for? CCMC or ANCC? If I do the CCMC, I can't test until April, eek! I'd really like to get started much sooner than that.

Could I get hired with just the experience and my BSN? Which certification should I seek?

Thanks!

It took a lot of studying so you may want to wait til April for the CCM. You will need that much time to study. But I'm really glad I got both. You know RN-BC is just for RNs.
