I haven't found a forum yet for this semester, re applying for the 2nd time. Extremely nervous.

How was your first time experienced? And do you mind sharing your GPA and TEAS score? I applied for fall 2024 day program at Catonsville and super nervous. Thanks

I just finished semester 1 for the RN day program. Went great, really solid professors. When I applied my GPA was 3.3 with an A in Bio, C in A&P 1, A in A&P 2, and a B in Micro. My overall TEAS score was 86, 78.8 in English and Language Usage, 81.8 in science, 91.2 in Math, and 94.9 in Reading. Overall I thought I had a decent chance of acceptance but it really comes down to the quality of the resume for the other candidates. If you have 50 applicants with average GPA and test scores vs 150 with competitive scores your chances will improve. Just keep at it! I'm nearly 30 years old with a 6 month old and if I can do it so can you!

I thought you're going to start fall 2024 day program. It's good to hear your first semester went well. I have 3.45 pre nursing GPA and 96.7% overall in TEAS. 97% in reading,94% in math ,97% in science and 100% in English and language uses. Very scary , it's very competitive to get into. I applied for the fall 2024 day program at Catonsville.

I just applied to the day program at CBCC- Catonsville campus yesterday. I have a 2.74 pre-nursing GPA from my BA-Health Science Degree program at my alma mater. TEAS score was 68%. I'm applying with average stats but I hope everything works in my favor. Prayers up to God! ?

Good luck to us. I applied for fall 2024 at Catonsville campus as well.

You would get into most 4 year universities with those scores LOL I can almost guarantee you will be accepted, I would even urge you to apply to schools like UMD, Towson, etc. you would likely receive scholarships and grants

Do you know when we should expect to receive a decision? Granted, the application deadline is February 29, 2024.

My cohorts application was due Feb 29, 2023 and we received our acceptance letter March 27. So give it about a month from the deadline

If you mind me asking what were your admission stats?

The first time I did not get in, I was still taking micro, and my TEAS test I only had a 67% total and 78% in reading. I just retook my TEAS, I got a 75 overall and 82% in the reading. Im still nervous because my grades arent the best, overall GPA 3.0. A in 110, b in A&P 1 , c in micro and a&P2. I found out march 26th that I did not get in that year, it was for fall 2021 cohort.

I just applied two days ago for Catonsville Day, Fall '24. It's been the only thing constantly on my mind since, LOL.

My stats are - GPA 2.9, TEAS  70.07, A&P 1&2 A, Intro to BIO C, MATH153 B, and Micro I'm taking this Spring.

I wish everyone the best of luck. Stayed prayed up and motivated!

Did anyone else see the email sent out yesterday? They are extending deadline for this cohort until end of February
