Anyone have any advice for the Case interview?? They have only scheduled the applicants 40 minutes apart - far cry from what I hear Akron's interview is like.

I replied to your PM. If I don't get the chance to talk with you before tomorrow, good luck! Let me know how it goes!
Just thought maybe some of you were wondering how my interview went at Case. Well, they asked the standard questions "why are you here? why do you want to be a CRNA? Why Case?" They tend to focus on your weakness, in my case, my perceived lack of experience - I have been an RN in an ICU since last August and will have 2 full years experience by the time class starts. THey asked 2 clinical questions - one related to questioning a bad order from a doc. The other was, what would you do if you made this particular med error. They asked what types of patients I take care of and what drips we use. I imagined myself leaving the interview in tears, but I walked out with a smile and thanked them for the interview. I have a good feeling, but we'll see if I get that admission letter. They also wanted to know what I knew about the program, and I stated that I knew it required most of my time, the hardest work I've ever had to do, and alot of determination. I told them I was in a good point in my life, where I'm motivated and have no children, and this is something I want to accomplish now. I have heard last year there were over 200 applicants, they interview 70 , and accepted 26 or so. Good luck to those who are interviewing!

CaseAlum,
I also interviewed and feel like I did very well. I interviewed last year and was not accepted so this interview was more of ... "what have you done since last year?" type questions. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and post as soon as I know the results. Let me know how it goes for you, okay?
HeartICU,
Just wanted to say "Thank You" for you willingness to be so helpful to everyone regarding Case Western's program. Last year, when I interviewed for the first time, you were instrumental in my having a calm, relaxed interview. Thanks and I hope you're doing well in the program.

I have an interview Tues and you sound just like myself. I'll have 2ys experience in ICU next Feb and I also have no kids. I'm worried because this is my 1st interview for CRNA school. You just made me feel a little less nervous. Hopefully we both get in.
