Hi,
If you're asking how long it would take to get your BSN then it kind of depends.
1. If you have nursing preq courses---microbiology, anatomy, etc.
then you can try and enter an accelerated program. Those take about 12 to 16 months.
you can also take a path called the traditional program. this will take 2 years.
2. If you don't have the preq courses, it could take you about 3-4 years.
If you don't understand what I mean, feel free to ask :)
thank u for your answer,
i had already studied for 2 years in france and it's mean that in 2005 i will graduate as a registered nurse (french state diploma)
is it mean i have prerequired?
which school are avaible for programs u told me? and are they accept foreign student?
hi,
well.....now i'm not sure. i honestly don't know the deal with you being an RN in france and then wanting to be an RN here.
Is there anyone else on the board who can help????
i know a french nurse who came in california as a nurse. but before she had to get the n clex and had studied again in us for it. the problem is the equivalence of different diploma. thank u for your help again
if anybody have further information.... should be welcome!!!
ps----i'd pick boston, over NY...but that's just me
also--in the dc, maryland, virgina area the nurses make the most cash of any of the states in the US.
(of course, they're not as cool to live in as boston!):)
