California nursing programs

I attend a university in Arkansas and will be finishing up my BS in Biology in a year. I have decided I wish to pursue nursing for a career. I also want to relocate to California to be closer to my son. He lives in Monterey. I am wondering if you guys know of a BSN program in Cali that will accept someone with a 2.8 to 2.9 GPA. Anything around Monterey or the Bay Area would be nice, but any college in the state would do. At least I'd be within a days drive of him. I could easily get into some BSN programs here, but he is already 22 months old and I want to be closer to him and not miss him grow up! Any info you can provide would be great. Thanks,

I would suggest moving out to California and taking some courses to raise your GPA. I don't know of any schools in the area that you will get in with that GPA, unless you look into some community colleges where they have a lottery system. good luck! California is beautiful! and Monterey is amazing!!
