Best RNC-OB Study Guide?!

Hello,

I've been working in L&D for 1 1/2 years and I have been looking in to getting my RNC-OB. I know you have to have 2 years of experience but I'm wanting to get a good study guide just to start studying and further my education and understanding of disease processes and treatments. I didn't know if anyone could recommend a good study guide for this certification. I've read good things about the "Inpatient Obstetric Nurse Exam Secrets Study Guide" book but wanted either confirmation or suggestions!

Any help would be great!

Good job on trying to study early! Intrapartum Management Modules: A Perinatal Education Program from AWHONN is a wonderful guide! Plus, I used 2 online practice exams from https://www.ccprwebsite.org. They are straight up awesome! They do cost about $50 each, but you get to take each test twice, and it opened up areas that I needed to study more (you can print out the test!) I also had out my Med-Surg books and Maternal-Child books from nursing school, when I studied. Those really helped with the patho. I made decks beyond decks of flashcards that I could keep as well, so I could review at anytime even after I passed my RNC-OB! I've had 2 other nurses use the flash cards I made, with the above resources and they both passed as well :) Good luck!!

I have worked in Mother Baby for 4 years now and want to get my RNC. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know of extra certifications for a RN w/ L&D background and now works for a private practice that focuses more on Antepartum, GYN and Urodynamics?
