background checks in Cali

Hi I recently got my license in Cali with a criminal record. I am searching for my first nursing job, and I have one offer at a SNF. They a running a background check on me. I am curious what will come up. I have had all of my charges except one misdemeanor DUI expunged. The Dui was in 2006, convicted 2007. When I applied for school my background came back clean because my charges were so old. I want to know who has had any experience with this in Cali?? please no speculations, only first hand experiences. I was told that cali can only go back 7 years, and that they cannot use expunged charges. If so then my background will come back clean, just like it did for school. and for the record I was never asked if I have been convicted of a crime, so I am not hiding anything.

Ok, I got the background info today. She said she was getting nervous because it took longer than she was expecting and there was something they looked into farther but that i was all cleared. I didn't offer any more info and she didn't ask.

Hello I read some of your story on a different thread and u was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about how you made it this far. I'm freaking myself out and closing does before u even get to them. I have a feelings record and an going through a diversion program

yes you can ask me anything you like, although I would prefer to PM when it comes to talking about my record in detail.
