ATI Compredictor A and B

Hello, just curious if anyone has taken the ATI comprehensive predictor A and B 2013, and how comparable they are. THANKS! :)

Featured Replies

I've taken both. Got a 99% chance of passing on first attempt, I don't know how comparable they can be since they don't the same format behind the testing. I take mine in a couple weeks, not feeling confident. I took the PN nclex 6 years ago and left there feeling like i couldn't have studied for it but I passed so I'm hoping to make my RN Nclex the same way *fingers crossed*

I guess I'm confused. You've take the ATI comprehensive predictor A and B for registered nurses?

Yes we were give access to the practice predictors both 2010 A and B and 2013 A and B the we took out final one at school which obviously was it's own version that we had to pass to pass the program.

Ok. Did you take the Proctored Comp A and B and if so how comparable are they? I took form B and I'm taking A in a few weeks. I guess I'm just looking for any advice to ensure I pass. I had gotten a 64 and need a 72.7 to pass.

They were about the same. Most if us were getting high 60's to mid 70's and were freaking out but when I actually took the one for school that counted I got like an 84 which equated to 99% chance of passing nclex on first try.

did you find that the focused review helped or just repetition with the practice tests?

I did both, I looked at what I consistantly got wrong and and went over that stuff then just kept doing the practice tests. It helped to look back at concepts like dehydration and what and how labs are effected and stuff like that so I could better understand questions. I'm weak in OB/ PEDS so I went through and took practice tests for that. Honestly when I took it at school I thought I did horrible and it was hard but like I said before I got the "99% chance of passing" so I guess I did much better than I thought. I was quite a mix of topics and a couple similar questions that were on the practice ones. You will be fine, I'm not sure how your school is doing it but you had to get quite a bit wrong to fail, I believe only 2 or 3 people in our class didnt pass but then passed the second attempt.

d_decubellis, Thank you for the vote of confidence. I'm terrible nervous, but I'm going to go back and do re-take more tests and hopefully just use the test taking strategies to get me a better grade. :/

You will do fine. Update on how it went :)

you are saying predictor form A and B are the same questions?
