You should ask the school/s you're interested in attending. Are you already in the US? Schools vary in their requirements for foreign students but most require:
1. A license to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the state where you will do your clinicals.
2. An undergraduate degree that is equivalent to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the US. Typically, you will need verification of your foreign academic degree via third-party service. A list can be found here: NACES How to Find a Member. However, certain schools only accept certain agencies.
3. Proof of proficiency in the English language if you are coming from a non-English speaking country via passing standardized English language tests such as TOEFL, MELAB, IELTS, etc. TOEFL seems to be the one most universities in the US use.
4. Some schools and colleges of nursing still require GRE for admission to graduate studies in nursing. In addition, you will need to meet requirements for any student applicant regardless of nationality such as minimum GPA, related nursing experience, professional statement of goals, and professional references.
